Meet Amy
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy practitioner, I bring both clinical expertise and deep personal commitment to supporting clients through their journey of self-discovery and healing.
I'm passionate about supporting people across diverse identities and experiences, with particular expertise in trauma recovery, identity exploration, and navigating the impacts of systemic oppression. I help clients move beyond talk therapy alone to engage their whole selves in the therapeutic process, and prioritize deep respect for each client's unique cultural, social, and personal context along the way.
Healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, our bodies, and others. My practice is rooted in the belief that when we feel truly seen and supported, we can safely explore the patterns that keep us stuck and discover new possibilities for connection and growth. I aim to both create a space where you have direct access to this kind of relating, and support you to create these connections in your life.
While I commonly work with clients in English now, I have been a Spanish speaker for over two decades and lived in Latin America for a time. I am able to connect in Spanish as it is supportive for you — for example, it can be beneficial, or even necessary, to process trauma in the language that it occurred in.
